I once stayed in hotels – some of the nicest in the world – while at a management consulting firm.  I visited some of the world’s most amazing places and had a liberal expense policy, but invariably ordered room service and took a taxi directly to work.  I was productive, but hardly living the dream.

My global work and education gave me a diverse group of friends and access to second homes and apartments around the world.  In these homes I experienced life as a local, prepared my own food and lived in homes that were much nicer than even the most luxurious hotel rooms.  You wouldn’t believe how many of these second homes are empty for more than 300 days a year.  Their owners would love to rent, too – not for much, but enough to cover expenses – but only to the (previously) mythical trusted guest.

Most people actually are trustworthy guests even if they do not have a global network of friends, but it is almost impossible to prove this trustworthiness.  I developed the TrustedGuests concept in London Business School's Entrepreneurship Summer School and recruited the best team possible to help make vacation homes the premium travel lodging option.  We are excited to introduce Trusted Guests and give you access to trusted guests and exclusive homes.
